Oral Breeze ShowerBreeze Water Jet Dental Irrigator – In-Shower Convenience
All of the tasks of grooming and oral hygiene take valuable time and energy. I always appreciate a good life hack that streamlines the process. This is an innovative product that lets you do your water flossing while in the shower.
It’s surprisingly easy to install and attaches right to your showerhead. Then, you can floss while in the shower.
This water flosser gives you volume control, allowing you to adjust the water pressure from completely off to a powerful stream to somewhere in between. In just 15 seconds while standing under a warm shower, an important part of your oral hygiene routine will be done, helping to prevent halitosis, gingivitis, and periodontitis.
The ShowerBreeze is made from chrome-plated brass, a high-quality material that stands the test of time. You receive two different tips and a tip holder, so more than one person in your household can use the ShowerBreeze.
One of the advantages of using this in the shower is that it is less messy. Water flossers can sometimes lead to some inadvertent sprays of water, making a mess in the bathroom. With this product, you don’t have to worry about that since you’re already in the shower.
This dental irrigator tool is extremely well-reviewed. As of this writing, it has nearly 1500 reviews with over 1000 of those reviews earning a perfect 5-star rating. Something that makes the ShowerBreeze even better is the fact that it is made in the USA by Oral Breeze, a company owned and operated by veterans.

- includes two tips for different users
- high-quality contstruction
- can control the volume and pressure
- easy to use
- USA-made by veteran-owned company

It has ten pressure settings and has 90 reservoir capacity in seconds. It features seven tips and two flossing modes, the Floss Mode and the Hydro-Pulse Massage Mode.
The Waterpik Aquarius Water Flosser is an improved version of its predecessor. And true enough, it lives up to the expectation of people as to its efficiency and facility of use.
The two floss modes of this water irrigator are probably its best asset.
You can use it not only to clean your mouth by removing the plaque therein but also to improve the circulation of blood in the entire oral cavity.

WaterPik Cordless Freedom – AA Batteries Powered

This unit is designed so that even a child can hold it without any difficulty, more so the hands of a fully grown adult.
It can be used by children with little to no adult supervision at all.
Instead of using an integrated battery like the JetPik JP50, Waterpik chose to power it with three AA batteries which should last one to two months.
As explained above, the water reservoir of this waterflosser is incorporated in the handle. Although you will have to refill it quite often, the process is relatively easy.
This oral irrigator comes with three detachable tips, making it ideal for family use.
Another advantage of this particular model is the fact that it is waterproof, this means you may use it under the shower if you want to.

- Long-lasting batteries
- Only 30 seconds of water flow due to the built-in reservoir

Philips Sonicare Air Floss – Less Water is More
Compact, light and convenient – these are the best words to describe the Philips Sonicare Airfloss Rechargeable Electric Flosser.
It’s a cordless flosser so you can bring it along with you even while you’re on travel.
It comes well-equipped with an auto-burst feature that claims to clean up everything including those in between your teeth in just 30 seconds.
Philips uses an air and micro-droplet technology, and only uses a teaspoon of water for each flossing.
For people looking for a convenient and hassle-free way to floss, then this flosser from Philips has got to be one of your considerations.
After reviewing most of the flossers on the market, we have to say that this one stands out. It is a quite different experience than flossing with other oral irrigators.
It delivered excellent results to people who have bought and used it. It’s easy to use and hold. The Philips Sonicare Airfloss’ design is meant to provide convenience to the user. Its handle only measures 1.2 inches. It makes it easy to hold while its long slim and nicely angled nozzle
Its handle only measures 1.2 inches which makes it easy to hold while its long narrow and angled nozzle allow you to reach hard to reach areas in your mouth with much ease.
It has built-in quick fill reservoir. The small size is not an issue as the Sonicare flosser only uses about a teaspoon of water for each use. This tank may be filled in with either a mouthwash or regular water, and you can fill it through its small flap.
Instead of a steady flow of water, on this one, it’s more like a mist. The pressure can be surprisingly high for a compact waterflosser.
The experience with this device is different; it doesn’t deliver a continuous flow but a single burst every time you press the button.
See this excellent video review from Dr. Angela Ly at Your Smile Clinic, Manchester testing the philips sonicare water flosser
Dr Angela Ly testing the Philips Airfloss Water Flosser
- Looks better than most oral irrigators
- Compact and good for travel
- Highest pressure on a portable water flosser
- Uses very little water, no need to refill it during a cleaning session

The Waterpik Classic Professional Water Flosser has a big hygienic water reservoir, and looks like it came from the dentist’s office.
It has six pressure settings which you can control directly from the handle, comes with 3 Tips and a 2-year warranty.
The Reservoir can be Inverted to be used as a cover, providing a neat-looking and hygienic storage.
This model has a lovely Handle, thinner than most electric toothbrushes and is the most comfortable to use.
We like this Oral irrigator’s durability. If you want sturdiness and longevity, you can get your money’s worth with this one!
It will benefit people who want to have a leeway to proper oral hygiene but also to people with dental implants, those who are wearing braces and those who have bridge work.
This one comes with three Tips:
- 2X Classic Jet Tip for general water flossing
- A Pik Pocket Tip to clean your gumline
As mentioned above, it also comes with a few problems: It can be very noisy, and you might want to look for another irrigator if you need to floss early in the morning while others are sleeping, or late at night.
It will take a lot of space in your bathroom, so you have to be aware of that too.
Having said that, it’s an excellent product that feels very sturdy, and this one is probably the most comfortable to use.
- Feels ‘Pro’, well built product
- Comfortable and Thin Handle
- All 6 pressure levels can be controlled from the handle
- Reservoir tank doubles as a cover
- Noisy
- Does not come with a lid to cover the reservoir
- Takes a lot of space
Wellness FC-10 High Powered Irrigator – Easy to use and Portable
The Wellness HealthPro FC-10 Professional Ultra High Powered Oral Irrigator Water Flosser is one of those oral irrigators that make your daily oral hygiene easier and fun.
It has a superb battery life for a portable irrigator and does not need charging for 2 to 3 weeks under normal usage conditions, which is why we included a review in this top ten list.
The Water Flosser has three pulsating modes, Standard, 1600 per minutes and 3000 per minute. It has decent pressure for the price tag.
Most customers find it easy to use; this is a no-nonsense product, easy and quick to fill and to use.
The Wellness FC-10 is simple to use, refill and charge. Its main advantages over the competition are a better than average battery life and a lower price tag.
Three pressure settings are good to have, and 3000 pulsations per minute are quite decent (comparable to higher priced waterparks).
Although the product’s durability is in question, we cannot deny that the Wellness FC-10 delivers what it says it will.
Even to those who had issues about the product agreed to say that it was still a great oral irrigator.
- Easy to use and convenient refill system
- Excellent Battery life
- Affordable Water Flosser
- Not the most durable product
Gurin Rechargeable WaterFlosser – Affordable and Silent
The all new Gurin Professional is lightweight at 14.4 ounces in weight.
The most affordable water flosser on this list, it is compact and can be easily transported.
It operates through a Universal voltage ranging from 100 to 240 volts or 50/60Hz, making it a viable option for overseas travel.
Gurin also made sure to design a noise free irrigator. The redesigned pump motor makes 70% less noise than previous models.
It features rotating interchangeable nozzles, specifically made to accommodate more than one user.
The Irrigator works with three primary modes, namely, Normal, Soft and Pulse.
- The Pulse mode is specially made to stimulate an increase in blood circulation in the oral cavities
- The Soft Mode is designed for sensitive cavities
- The Normal Mode for everyday use
It has two interchangeable tips. Each tip has a different color to accommodate two users without switching a tip from the other. Its nozzles are also rotating to assure all-out teeth cleaning.
More, unlike other units, its motor does not produce too much noise. It operates very quietly and does not even alert the most sensitive ears.
Definitely a decent product for a cheap water flosser. If you are ok with recharging the batteries every few days, and don’t mind the fact that refilling the tank is a bit more tricky than other oral irrigators, this could be the one for you.
- Relatively Silent
- Cheapest Water flossing device on this page
- Universal Power Input
- Compact and great for travelling
- Poor Battery life
- Small filling hole on the water tank
Interplak Sonic Water Jet System – All in one solution
What makes the Interplak Water-flosser special is its water pulsation and effective sonic brushing system.
With this technology, this oral irrigator can brush your teeth, and launch jet flossing for an impressive finish, and massage areas that need particular attention.
Ultimately, this water irrigator helps prevent gingivitis and gum diseases in style and ease.
What we have here is a cheaper version of the Waterpik Complete care, an all-in-one product for your dental care.
This unit comes with a seven-setting pressure control system, a large translucent water tank, and a little drawer to keep the extra attachments.
This amount of pressure may be enough for you if you have sensitive gums, but this is something to consider.
This oral irrigator comes with six attachments, including two exclusive tips, carefully designed to accommodate various needs to achieve a complete dental care.
The tips include the water jet tip, the subgingival tip, the tongue cleaner, the soft finger massager, and two full-size brush heads.

- 2X Full size vibrating brush tips (no color differentiation)
- A soft gum massager
- The Water Jet Tip for classic water flossing
- A Subgingival Tip, to clean your gum line

While this more affordable version of the waterpik complete care can work for some people, we feel that the pressure is not enough for most users. In addition to that, it is also very noisy.
- Affordable
- Doubles as an electric toothbrush
- Big tank capacity
- Not enough pressure
- Noisy
- Build quality could be better
